Honey BBQ Sauce- Recipes My Mom Gave Me

There are certain condiments that I don't really buy.   Why?  Because, I'm the only one that eats them.  Like BBQ sauce, I love it.  So, does my oldest.  However, nobody I currently live with likes it.

So, I usually make it.  That way, I don't have to worry about it sitting in the fridge for forever and a day, can make as much or as little as I want and honestly, it just tastes better.

This is my go-to homemade BBQ sauce recipe.  I adore it and it's crazy easy to make. Win-Win!

Recipe Notes

  • Store any leftover sauce in a covered container/jar in your refrigerator.  It's best eaten within 2 weeks.
  • Freezing: Yes, you can freeze this sauce. After making it, let it cool to room temperature. Then, store in a covered, freezer safe container or plastic storage bag.  When freezing, make sure your container is also airtight. If using a plastic storage bag, try and remove as much air from the bag as you can. When you are ready to use, simply let it defrost to room temperature beforehand.
