Guys, once you make homemade donuts, you will not worry about the bakery again! These are so good and when you get your donut pan, the flavor combinations are endless.
💡 Hey, I don't have a donut pan! →→→ get one here.
Ingredients Needed
- Flour + Salt + Baking powder
- Butter
- Sugar
- Hot cocoa mix
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Milk
- Eggs
- Chocolate chips
Recipe Notes
- This recipe makes 12 donuts. If you use the 6 count pan, you will have to do 2 batches.
- Hot Cocoa Mix: You will need just 1/4 of a cup of dry hot cocoa mix. Use your favorite brand/flavor or you can make it homemade.
- Don't over mix your donut batter. This can give you a dense donut.
- Store any leftovers in a covered container. You don't need to refrigerate them, unless it's really warm/humid in your area.
- If you are topping with sprinkles ( or anything besides the glaze), do this before the glaze sets.
