Chocolate Snickerdoodle Bars- Chocolaty bars with the added flavor of cinnamon. We are then topping them off with a creamy chocolate- cinnamon buttercream frosting. They are dreamy!
Chocolate + Cinnamon = A great flavor combination. 🖒
Ingredients Needed
- Chocolate cake mix
- Snickerdoodle cookie mix
- Butter
- Milk
- Eggs
- Chocolate chips
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Powdered sugar
Frosting
Don't want to make it homemade? Use your favorite store brand instead!
Cookie Mix
- I used Betty Crocker Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix. It's a 17.9 oz pouch that also includes a small packet of cinnamon sugar mix. Any brand equivalent will work. Be sure to check the size of your package before using, to make sure the recipe works.
- You are only using the dry mix! Don't make the cookie batter.
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture
If your cookie mix does not include a cinnamon sugar mixture, that is ok! You can make it yourself. Mix together 1/3 cup of sugar with about a tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Remove your 2 teaspoons of the mixture for the frosting and continue the recipe as noted.
