Maple Muffins with Maple Glaze- Soft maple muffins drenched with a smooth maple glaze. They are just so darn good.
Ingredients Needed
- Flour + Baking powder + Ground cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Egg
- Milk
- Maple syrup
- Powdered sugar
- Butter
- Sour cream
- Vanilla
Recipe Notes
- Maple Syrup: I do know that real maple syrup can be costly. So, if desired, you can use maple flavored syrup for these muffins. However, I highly recommend the real thing.
- Sour Cream: None on hand? You can replace it with plain Greek yogurt
- This recipe makes about 9 muffins, instead of the standard 12. Don't over mix your batter. Simply mix it until not dry spots are left in the batter. A few lumps are ok. Over mixing can give you a dense muffin.
- Storage: Keep any leftovers in a covered container. No need to refrigerate, unless the weather is hot/humid in your area.
Canadian here, Maple syrup - yes yes yes. Love it
