Small Batch Peanut Butter Swirled Brownies- Chocolaty brownies with a peanut butter swirl that don't require too many ingredients and are great for just 2-4 people.
When you want brownie, but, don't want to make a giant pan of them 🖒
Ingredients Needed
- Flour + Baking soda
- Chocolate chips
- Vanilla
- Butter
- Sugar- -granulated and powdered
- Peanut butter
- Egg white
Recipe Notes
- What Size Pan? 6 inch. I used my 6 inch iron skillet (see recipe card). However, you can also use a baking pan too. For example, this Fat Daddio's will work, as will this silicone version. If you use a skillet, be sure it's oven safe!
- Peanut Butter: Not a fan? You don't have to use it! Use another type of nut butter ( ex: sunflower, almond or cashew) or eliminate it all together.
- Chocolate Chips: I stuck with semi -sweet, but, dark or milk chocolate will also work.
- Serving Size: This will feed anywhere from 2-4 people.

Small Batch Peanut Butter Swirled Brownies
Chocolaty brownies with a peanut butter swirl that don't require too many ingredients and is great for just 2-4 people.
Ingredients
For the Brownie Batter:
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 TBSP sugar
- Splash of vanilla
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
For the Peanut Butter Swirl:
- 1 TBSP creamy peanut butter
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prep the Oven & Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 6-inch pan, baking dish, or oven-safe skillet.
- Melt Chocolate & Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the butter until completely melted and smooth. Heat in 30-second intervals and stir in between to prevent the chocolate from burning.
- Mix the Batter: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and vanilla. Stir in the egg white until combined, then pour in the melted butter and chocolate mixture. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Assemble the Swirl: Spread the brownie batter evenly into your prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 15 seconds to soften. Remove and stir in the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Create the Marble Effect: Drizzle the sweetened peanut butter across the top of the brownie batter. Drag a knife through the layers to swirl it into a beautiful marble pattern.
- Bake & Cool: Bake for 14 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Let cool slightly before slicing.
