This skillet dish is fast to make and is packed full of flavor. Use your favorite homemade meatballs recipe or go with a bag of the frozen stuff. Either way, they are yummy.
Ingredients Needed
- Meatballs- cooked
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Ground ginger
- Ketchup
- Sesame oil
- Minced garlic
- Oil
Meatballs
- As noted above, you can use your favorite homemade meatballs or buy a package of pre-made. Whatever works best for you. If you use frozen, you will have to add a few minutes to your cooking time.

- Whichever version you choose, you will need anywhere from 14 to 16 meatballs.
Serving Ideas
- These go perfectly with white or brown rice, ramen noodles or mashed potatoes.
- Looking to add a veggie? Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or frozen Asian style veggies. You can also stir the cooked/steamed veggies right into the pan with the meatballs.
Storage: Keep any leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator. They are best eaten within a week.

Garlic Soy Skillet Meatballs
Meatballs cooked in a flavorful Asian inspired sauce. It's a simple one dish dinner idea that can be on your table in about 45 minutes.
Ingredients
- 14 -16 COOKED meatballs
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- oil, for skillet
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a skillet, except the meatballs.
- Over medium heat, continue whisk/stir the ingredients until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Add in cooked meatballs and stir to coat.
- Continue cooking (and stirring) meatballs until the meatballs are heated thoroughly and the sauce has thicken a bit. This should take about 15-20 minutes. If your meatballs are frozen, cook them for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- If desired, top meatballs with sesame seeds before serving.
