Simple Herb Stuffing- Buttery stuffing baked up with a few simple herbs. A perfect side dish for whatever you are serving.
This is a simple stuffing that can be made for a small group or a large gathering. Easy and so buttery good!
Ingredients Needed
- Stuffing cubes, herb seasoned
- Butter
- Chicken broth
- Dried spices: Minced onion, garlic powder, sage, salt and pepper
Stuffing Cubes
If you don't wish to use stuffing cubes or can't find them, you can also use a classic stuffing mix. I do recommend using a herb seasoned variety.
Dried Herbs
We are pretty basic when it comes to our herbs. However, feel free to increase/decrease the amounts as you wish. A few additional herbs you could try are rosemary, parsley or celery salt.
Can I Add Anything to This Stuffing?
This stuffing is a really basic recipe and can be used as a jumping off point to make it your own. You can add in cooked sausage, chopped celery, dried cranberries or roasted nuts...whatever suits your fancy!

Simple Herb Stuffing
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 4 cups stuffing cubes
- 1/3 cup chicken broth (plus extra if needed)
- Salt and pepper, to taste preference
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 or 9-inch baking pan.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the minced onion, garlic powder, ground sage, salt, and pepper. Cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the stuffing cubes and chicken broth directly into the skillet. Toss well to combine. *Note: If the stuffing cubes still seem a little dry, you can add in a bit more chicken broth until they are evenly moistened.
- Spread the stuffing mixture evenly into your prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top of the stuffing is lightly browned.
